With black history month just right behind us, and women's month underway, we want to keep that light on black women because, too much is never enough, honey! (Written by yours truly a black girl ;-) One thing is for sure, this list can resonate with absolutely anyone because let's face it, we all need some comfortable quarantine style. Naturally this is a statement we at IMperfect Apparel support and standby 100%. Their resounding message plus clever packaging has attracted the attention of big names like BET and Cosmopolitan. In the midst of racial tensions, the "Martin + Coretta" sweatshirt is the perfect reminder of peace and equality.
Mother spelled backward, Rehtom encourages the concept that mothers are the rhythm to every family and what more can we say than YES! Outside of the message, we love that the company caters to the stylish, edgy woman, who enjoys streetwear. Home of the popular "Girls Tour" merch, this company gives us the best of both worlds. Owned by Heather Sanders, SB is a perfect blend of chill yet flirty vibes. Naturally the "Girls Tour" is the collection to keep you cozy throughout the remainder of quarantine but also perfect for when you're ready to hit the streets again. We're loving this cotton candy colored hoodie!
So we may be a bit bias, but we kinda have to mention this company called IMperfect Apparel, you may have heard of it!? A company and lifestyle that embraces the idea that "our imperfections are what make us the most perfect version of ourselves." From a variety of graphic tees to customized original pieces; IA has something for everyone. "The Aliccia Hoodie" has always been a personal favorite, fitting for quarantine because you get a personalized touch to a classic streetwear essential. Plus its comfy AF. It's easy to see those in your same market as "competition" but in reality there is enough room for everyone. We are so inspired by other women who have stepped into the male dominated Streetwear industry and demanded attention.
